Unofficial Opening of Birds' Nest

Even though Birds' Nest (the new home of Caledon Early Bird Social Club) is still under construction, we decided to have an unofficial opening party to celebrate this wonderful place. I am pleased to report we had quite a good turnout again, despite the rather late hour.

People danced and chatted happily. Even Her Excellency, the Vicereine of Caledon, honoured us with her presence. Later she and Lady Amber showed us old photographs of Caledon. It was really interesting to see those imagines of a time long gone, especially for an newcomer to Caledon like myself.

I am really pleased the Early Birds and Birds' Nest are coming so well. I am looking forward to future events!
